FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Q) How do I become a model?
A) All models who wish to join our agency must go through an application process, Click here for more information on this.

Q) Can I make much money as a model?
A) Money can vary greatly in the industry and ranges from expenses only being paid on certain jobs to earnings in the hundreds or thousands in other. As a rule Adults get paid more than children, the range of monies can be as diverse for both though. As an adult, most of the models on our books are in the industry full time and understand the ups and downs that come with it. Children are of course just pursuing modeling as an interest as the main focus with a child is their schooling. Please DO NOT get involved in child modelling if all you are after is financial reward. We encourage you get involved to let your child have the experience and treat the financial reward as a bonus.

Q) Your jobs range from photographic stills, to commercials, to film parts, to stage. Can I pick and choose which type of jobs I want to do?
A) We encourage all our models to be flexible and to try out for all types of roles. Some acting roles require experience and/or qualifications. If you do not have these we would obviously not put you forward for these roles. However, often roles are open to anyone and based more on the way someone looks rather than what the acting skill they have. There is a place on the registration form to state whether you would be interested in stage work or not as we do appreciate this is slightly different to the other types of work. It is possible to register you on the books (if you are accepted) as a model only who is not interested in any acting or TV work, we would need to be aware of this from the start however and you would need to be aware that this could limit the number of jobs you may be offered.

Q) Will you inform me of each job you put me forward for?
A) No, once you are registered it is taken for granted that you are available for work and your details will continually be sent to clients in reference to jobs. If you are planning to go away on holiday or are not available for work at any stage you must let us know in advance. If you are selected for a casting, it is at that stage that we will call you to advise you of the details and what the casting is for etc.

Q) Can I register with you if I’m already registered with another agent?
A) We can accept applications and registrations from adults who are already registered elsewhere. We do have a sole agency policy for Children.

Q) How much work can I expect to get from being registered with you?
A) The amount of work can vary greatly depending on many factors, as can the size of each job. Child modelling is not a full time job and the most successful child models will probably only work a maximum of 5-10 times a year. Adult work can also vary greatly from one occasional assignment, to full time commitment in certain jobs.

Q) Is there a fee to join the agency?
A) There is no charge to join the Agency as an Adult Model (aged 16 and over), there is a £25.00 one off admin charge to join the Agency as a Child. This is not payable until we have offered you a place with the agency and you have accepted.

Q) Will I be placed on the website as soon as I have registered?
A) No, unlike most agencies today, we do not make it compulsory to be placed on the website or in our model book. If you would like to do so we would welcome you to and we do encourage everyone to do this. The best way we can market any model is by featuring them on the website and in our model book. We do not make this compulsory however because we must charge a fee for these services and we appreciate that not everyone (especially those new to the industry) wants to pay to be entered onto the website or into the model book when they are not sure how they will get on in the industry.

Q) Do I have to have professional photos done in order to apply for the agency or be on the books.
A) No, as long as the photos are clear and of a good quality then you do not need professional photos. If you wish to be on the website or in the model book then we do require professional photos. We have photo shoot days arrange which you can book with us to have your photos done, or if you already have professional photos done and they meet our style and standard requirements then you are welcome to submit these.
